Counseling

Our counseling services are designed to meet you where you are. We specialize in:

  • Individual counseling for adults and adolescents
  • Support for anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions
  • Multicultural and LGBTQIA2S+-affirming approaches
  • Strength-based strategies to foster resilience and growth

Therapy should be collaborative, respectful, and tailored to your unique needs.

Animal Assisted Therapy

Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) is an optional, clinician‑led approach that intentionally incorporates trained therapy animals into the therapeutic process to enhance engagement, regulation, and experiential learning. At RWR Counseling, AAT complements evidence‑based counseling methods—bringing embodied, relational experiences into goals such as anxiety management, social connection, trauma recovery, and emotional expression.

Emotional Support Animal Evalutation

We provide professional evaluations to determine whether an Emotional Support Animal may be a helpful part of your mental health care. When clinically appropriate, our licensed clinicians issue ESA letters that meet housing and legal standards.

Note: ESAs are distinct from service animals—they offer emotional comfort but are not trained for specific tasks. Letters are provided only after a thorough evaluation and when an ESA is deemed clinically beneficial.

Consulting

Beyond individual counseling, we offer consulting services to help professionals and organizations strengthen their practices. Areas of expertise include, and are not limited to:

  • Project and program management
  • Professional development
  • Managing stress and burnout
  • Team building and communication
  • Management development and coaching
  • Business problem evaluation and resolution

Our consulting approach bridges theory and practice, ensuring strategies are both evidence-based and practical.
